“Winterfest” New Year event was organized by Kültür Point on Thursday, 29 December 2022, in the front yard of Ataköy Campus. At the event held with the contributions of IKUVENT Club, Career Club, Dance Club, Rock'n Culture Club and Orchestra IKU, our students experienced the enthusiasm of the new year to the fullest with concerts and DJ performances. The Department of Entrepreneurship students made an investment presentation simulation within the scope of the 2022-2023 Fall Semester "Entrepreneurship Workshop I" lecture. In the presentations in which Assist. Prof. Mahmut Paksoy from the Department of Business Administration, Res. Assist. Şerif Yüksel from the Department of International Trade and Finance and Res. Assist. Mustafa Bekmezci from the Department of Entrepreneurship acted as jury members, the students presented their business ideas in detail.
The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences 2022-2023 Fall Semester Academic Board was held on Wednesday, December 28 at our Basın Ekspres Campus. After the assembly, where the faculty members, administrative stuff and studens were present, the New Year was celebrated.
A promotional concert by IKU Turkish Classical Music Chorus was staged at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on Wednesday, 28 December 2022 at 19.00, under the direction of Presidential Turkish Music Voice Artist Chief Recep Alper Çevirel and accompanied by saz artists. In the concert attended by about three hundred music lovers songs such as "I Don't Complain to Anyone", "Songs Sing About You", "Remember My Love" were performed with choirs and solos.
The Youth Office, which continues its endeavours within the body of Istanbul Kültür University, paid a visit to Zümrütevler Primary School on Tuesday, 27 December as part of its social responsibility project.

An event titled "Communication Academy with Cem Öğretir" was held in Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on Sunday, December 18, in cooperation with Kültür Point and Active Campus. In the event, in which a certain number of places were reserved for IKU students, approximately 500 people were present with the participants from students from other universities. In the event that lasted for 5 hours, by the speaker Cem Öğretir, trainings were held on the topics of Effective Body Language, Effective Communication and Diction.
IKU Fine Arts Application and Research Center (GSUAM) held its second exhibition opening of the season with “Archive Exhibitions: Ali Hâdi Bara” at IKU Art Gallery on Wednesday, December 14. Our Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek made the opening speech of the exhibition, to which Our Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız and our Board of Trustees Advisor Ender Rıza Ekici also attended.
