IKU Vocational School Digital Vocational Education Method Group made its fifth meeting on February 12, 2021, Friday in the Hybrid classroom created by our university’s infrastructure. The “IKU-MYO Digital Vocational Education” Method has defined by the Digital Education Supervisor and Head of IKU MYO Assist. Prof. Sinan Kesici and the information about the studies which the sub-study groups did were shared.

The first application period of We Accept, which offers the chance to study in undergraduate programs of Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) with a scholarship, has started for 2021 YKS candidates.

The first period applications of We Accept, which has been offering scholarships to more than a thousand young people in undergraduate programs since 2019, can be made until April 2, 2021 at https://we-accept.com. The results will be announced on April 9, 2021.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver published a message regarding the changing IKU agenda with the New Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

Dear Kültür Family,

We started the 2020/21 Spring Semester. As of February 15, we will say hello to our students again. Due to our work, our agenda has always been young people. However, for the last month, I have been watching carefully the expectations, dreams, attitude and stance of university youth in the media; I trust Generation Z as our future.

Mutation, alternative waves, social and economic effects, and the year 2021, when digitalization transformed from choice to necessity, will be a test for entrepreneurs. Istanbul Kültür University's Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver organizing the "Start-Up Feast" for entrepreneurial youth with the theme " Make Your Ideas real That Will Shape The New Norm"  pointed out that crisis periods are an opportunity for out-of-the-box, innovative and solution-oriented entrepreneur candidates.

My Dear Kültür Family,

We are leaving the first month of the year behind. As of February, we are on the verge of a new beginning. Due to the second wave, we switched working from home in December 2020. As of Monday, February 1, 2021, we are returning to our Ataköy Campus with our senior management, academic and administrative staff which we determined as 63 employees in the first phase.

Our students (associate degree, undergraduate, graduate) and our graduates who want to represent IKU by joining our team competing in the Universities Online Chess League, which is held on Sundays every week, can be a part of our university's successful Chess Culture by contacting the numbers below.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Graduate Education Institute Spring Term applications have started. Online applications to IKU Graduate Education Institute, which has 67 master's with thesis and non-thesis and 11 doctorate programs in 20 main branches of science and 4 main branches of art, will continue until February 5, 2021.

Prof. Pınar Obakan Yerlikaya, a faculty member of the Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, who continues her research on the development of various drug active ingredients against COVID-19 with her work team and cooperation partners, gave information about the COVID 19 virus vaccines and vaccines.
